Title: July Updates
The voting is really starting to pick up in the past couple weeks and drivers in position to receive an offer to be part of the 2018 edition of the FANS Fund changes almost daily. This makes things very exciting, but also a little nerve wrecking, especially for those fans that want to help out a particular driver. It will be very important to keep an eye on the votes daily as we come down to the wire. We will attempt to update daily, but there may be some days it does get missed.
The amount of funds the FANS Fund group has generated this year also continues to clime thanks to generous contributions from both the fans and out sponsors. This event could not happen without the help of either one of these groups. As of July 9th the fund is sitting a little under $19,000. This years sponsors include many return sponsors who have helped out the FANS Fund for the past couple years. They include Johnson Motors, Johnson Ford, JT Auto Sales, Gillund Enterprises Justice Brothers, GRP Motorsports, Casey Farms, Bernick’s Pepsi, Joe Provo Race Wear, Badger Storage and Excavating, Willow River Saloon, Kirkpatrick Law Office, and Track Rat Photo. Please remember to support these companies whenever possible, and thank them when you get a chance.
Lastly, we would like to remind everyone that voting will end Sunday July 15th this year to give the organizers a couple of weeks to contact and finalize details with each driver. If you want to make sure that your favorite driver is included make sure to get your donation and votes in as soon as possible. We will accept donations after this date, but no more votes will be counted. As a reminder it is $5 for 1 vote and anyone who donates at least $30 will be invited to the FANS Fund lunch the Saturday afternoon of the USA Nationals. Along with the lunch you will receive a great t-shirt designed by sponsor Joe Provo Race Wear.
