FANS FUND GOES FULL THROTTLE

Partners With Photographer & Designer To Produce Poster

Farmington, Minn (July 17, 2010) The F.A.N.S. Fund and Full Throttle Photos have partnered to produce the 2010 FANS Fund poster. The poster is being produced to commemorate the “Elite Eight” selected in this year’s FANS Fund as well as the new FANS Fund All-Star selection. Everyone who donated to the FANS Fund will receive their limited-edition poster at the FANS Fund luncheon held on Saturday, August 7.

“I wanted to give something to every fan who contributed to the FANS Fund and provide them something that only they could get that was unique to our event and have drivers autograph,” stated Rich Olson, founder of the FANS Fund. “I wanted a really high-quality and professional product that fans would be proud to hang in their office, garage, shop, man cave… whatever, and that led me to Shawn Swanstrom at Full Throttle Photos. Shawn produces incredible products such as driver cards, event photos… you name it in racing and the guy does some of the best work in the industry.”

Shawn Swanstrom, owner of Full Throttle Photos, said, “I was excited when Rich called me about the project. I had not done a large format collage poster and after a few phone calls discussing the project we landed on a design idea that I know racing fans are really going to enjoy.” Swanstrom hosts a site for his photography and design business at www.FullThrottlePhotos.net where you can see samples of his design work, photo galleries, and pricing information.

Thank you to all the photographers who submitted photos for the poster. Their were some terriffic shots of Dirt Late Models and it was enjoyable to work with Shawn to select the ones we thought would work best on the poster. A special thank you for the work from the following photographers whose photos will be featured on the poster: Joey Millard, Jimmy Dearing, Tony Hammett, Cory Stivason, LeRoy Beck and Jerry Zimmer. Increadbile work, guys!

Olson concluded, “I cannot begin to thank Shawn enough for the expertise and work he put forth on this poster. I am excited to hand out these posters at our luncheon during the USA Nationals and know even the race teams themselves will want a few copies for back at their shop.”

We want your feedback. There are two options for the FANS Fund poster. One has a black blackground while the other is blue. In the white box, at the bottom of the page, under “Leave A Reply” – type in which color you prefer and add any other comments you wish regarding the poster then click the “Submit Comment” button.
